The property photos — many items shown are old, broken, or completely unusable. There was no outdoor lighting, and the glasses were dusty and poorly maintained. Wouldn’t recommend staying here unless the location is your only priority."

This was the coziest most wonderful stay we've had on our trip yet and we'll definitely be back. "Calm, relaxing environment, clean rooms with private onsen. Amazing service and attention to detail. Nice Japanese breakfast set plus some buffet items each morning. Fantastic multi-course dinner with seafood and charcoal grilling. Modern ryokan experience. Easy parking under the building. Highly recommend!"

"If you want a really roomy experience , stay in the 2-storey maisonette room which is like a big apartment. It’s amazing! So much space and privacy and direct access to the pool and beach from your balcony. The hotel is lovely, breakfast was excellent and the beach is beautiful. Staff spoke a variety of languages which was very helpful. This location is also good for visiting Amagiso outdoor waterfall onsen."

"We loved our authentic Japanese vacation stay. Fireworks were a surprise we had not expected. Buffet had a large variety of choices although I am allergic to shrimp and do t like seafood so it limited me. I was still able to find enough to eat each day. Onsen was a new experience for us being Canadian but now we love it and will miss this relaxing ritual."
