"The room was fine, dirty carpets and uneven floors, our biggest issue was you have to check in down the block, at what appeared to be a nicer hotel, it was a bit of a hike and once we got there they told us we could use the pool and stuff there but we had no idea based on the booking so we didn’t come prepared"

"We had the family room and it was spacious with one main room with double bed and desk and separate bedroom with double bed. Was relatively clean with some dust under the beds. Modern shower/toilet rooms although quite small. Directly across the street from the train station, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, we were there on a Tuesday and the restaurant and wine bar is closed that day so we did not have opportunity to eat or drink."

"When we arrived early, our room was not ready, so we explored the town. On returning, the receptionist was not very welcoming. Earlier, Delilah had kindly approved our use of the disabled parking space, but during check-in the receptionist questioned this and checked our blue badge himself, which felt uncomfortable. There were also issues with the room keys. Three of us stayed in the room, but we were first given only one key. After requesting another, my key still only worked for the main entrance and not the room, which caused inconvenience later. The room itself was below expectations. The carpet looked dirty, and there was no mirror outside the bathroom. On the positive side, breakfast was decent, and Delilah was very helpful throughout our stay. Another staff member with long hair also kindly helped resolve an issue with someone parking in the disabled bay. Overall experience was disappointing."

"My daughter and I needed a last minute stay. We lucked out and found this hotel with the economy room. Plenty of parking when we arrived. The place is amazing to look at and experience. The staff are great. Our room was really dated, but functional. The closet and the mattress need replacing. The beds are low to the ground. A fan was provided during the heat. Windows opened to the courtyard helped with fresh air, but the noise can last until 1 to 2 am if a function is going on. Bring earplugs. Shared bathrooms are split between men and women, but some men don't read signs. We had 2 toilets and 3 showers for women on our section. 2 out of 3 showers had soap. Breakfast is a simple buffet of warm and cold food. There can be a wait for coffee as there are only 2 machines. Breakfast staff are quick on filling and cleaning up the tables. Bar area is best to go to the bar order if there is minimal staff. Grounds are beautiful even though there is some construction going on. I would love to visit again, but maybe a different room type."

"L’hébergement est à côté du site c’est super mais les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées donc les enfants qui courent dans les corridors en criant dérange le bien-être des autres."

"Although the hotel was in a good location and had free parking , a nice room and an adequate breakfast. Unfortunately our 1 night stay was spoilt with the fact that on our arrival the hotel was completely locked up. Check in stated it was from 3pm and we arrived at half past. After ringing the proprietor, she arrived after half an hour to let us in. Our next problem was over the price we paid . Our offer included a free breakfast ,but the lady argued that we hadn't paid enough. So she rang Expedia to complain. So we had to sit and wait about another hour before we were given the key to our room. But at least we were told that we were entitled to a free breakfast. We still had to settle the bill for city tax which states is €2 35 each. But we didn't receive any change from a 10€ note. As it took over 90mins to check in , it meant that we had very little time to visit the lovely centre of valkeburg before the attractions closed. I certainly wouldn't visit again due to the owners bad attitude. Although I must say, the girl who served breakfast was lovely."
