Upon arrival, was given a cold iced tea which was delicious. All front staff were delightful, and very helpful. In perfect English as well. Room was clean, and couldn't have asked for a better location with a stunning view of the river. ♥️

We booked this as our plans changed last minute and it was the most wonderful surprise! It is a beautiful hotel, in the best location. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The only tiny downside was the air conditioning wasn’t working but that was minor and didn’t affect our stay!

Very clean and historic hotel in a great location to all the sites and attractions in the area. Very helpful English speaking staff. Parking is challenging if serving by car. Various underground car parks are tricky to find and not always available for the hotel discounted rate.

The check-in was easy and we were given very detailed instructions including the parking location. For us the distance to walk for the parking was not an issue, but be aware that it is a bit away. The room was beautiful! We had a corner room on the top floor. We both gasped when we first opened the door and saw the incredible view of the old bridge and the river! It was stunning! Room was large with an extremely comfortable bed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We did get the buffet breakfast and were surprised it had scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon as we are Americans but knew German breakfast usually only had boiled eggs. It was a nice surprise. There were lots of other more German items on the buffet as well which were delicious. We would love to stay here again when we have more than one night to spend in Heidelberg! Thank you for such a beautiful experience!
