"A spacious, generously-provisioned home, spread over four floors. A large sitting room leads out to a patio and sunken garden area with views across to the forest. In addition the first floor bedroom has a large balcony, so lots of outdoor space to enjoy. Internally, this feels like someone’s home, not a holiday let, which makes it very comfortable and pleasant to spend time in. We deliberately chose a property away from the main tourist areas and at the quiet end of the lakes, but as well as enjoying the seclusion and being adjacent to forest, river and reservoir walks, the neighbouring town of Heimbach had much to offer…more, it seems, than the main tourist towns on the shores of Rursee, so we were very happy with our choice. Melanie was a kind and helpful host, and we greatly enjoyed staying in her charming property."

"We had a fantastic stay at Hampton by Hilton Aachen Tivoli. From the moment we arrived, all the staff were friendly, welcoming and eager to help. Nothing was ever too much trouble.A special mention must go to Alexander, who worked in the bar. He genuinely made our stay memorable. Every evening he welcomed us with a smile, took the time to chat with us and showed a real interest in our trip. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and always made us feel valued as guests.Thanks to Alexander, our evenings in the bar became one of the highlights of our stay. His excellent customer service, attention to detail and friendly personality created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. He is a real credit to the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others. Thank you to the whole team and especially Alexander, for making us feel so welcome!!"
