"We stayed overnight for a wedding nearby and wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely area, and surroundings. The bar area downstairs is excellent and the room was ideal (slightly dated but everything we needed and we had a nice quiet sleep). I have to leave a note for the Collette in reception, she was able to arrange an early check in, and book a taxi as well as just being lovely to deal with. If im in the area again, this will be my hotel."

"A stay next to the Atlantic but so peaceful. Great view from rear porch, safe garden, access to Skibbereen easy (car essential!).Cottage shows its age, needs more towels and better bedding, but comfortable and all needs catered for. Breda helps with any needs. "

This castle really immerses you in the history of the location. I picked this location for the amazing views and the unique experience. If you want history and beauty this is your place. If you want 5 star hotel with fancy accommodations this is not your place. But it definitely got 5 stars from me."

"Perfect location with easy access to parking, our room was exactly as advertised clean and comfy. we had dinner at the bar and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and inviting. The area is very quiet at night so that was awesome because we got plenty of rest. Definitely recommend to stay a night or two. "

"We had a two night stay at the Ovanne. which we found very pleasant. everyone was so accommodating and easy especially aa we also had our dog with us.all the staff were very welcoming and kind to us. Brendan cooked wonderful irish breakfasts. i will be coming back again as its a great location and has everything you need for a pleasant stay "
