"We loved this hotel, and the fact that it was nestled away from everything in the area. We were upgraded to an ocean room on-site, the restaurant, while expense, was delicious, the room was comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast had a variety of options and the staff was friendly, too. Our own downside was that the shower was a bit small and had an all-in-one body wash/shampoo. That wouldn't stop us from staying again; we'd just bring our own next time. Out of all of the hotels on our 10-day trip, this one is definitely in our top 3 favorites. "

"This lovely place in Hellnar was a wonderful restful place to make our home base during a few days on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The cottage is lovely and clean and well-equipped. It was easy to explore the national park and there is a lovely hiking trail to the next town Arnarstappi. We cooked at home a few nights and had an amazing dinner at the local hotel (just a short walk down the road). Definitely would stay here again!"
