Site of former Helmdon Village station. View eastward, towards Towcester and Blisworth: ex-Stratford & Midland Junction Railway Blisworth - Towcester - Banbury branch line. The branch had been closed since 29/10/51, the station ('Helmdon LMS' until 1/7/50) having lost its passenger service from 2/7/51.

Bridleway The tree on the left is growing up through and round several large stones that may once have been the gatepost.

Cottages in Wappenham Road, Helmdon, Northamptonshire. Nos 22 and 24 (just beyond the telephone pole) are 18th-century and Grade II listed.
