We were like fish in water in the spacious corner room we got and we loved the view and the neighborhood. The breakfast room is also lovely, lots of windows along a picture perfect street of the old town. Plenty of old world charm and friendly staff.

Cute hotel

In general a really lovely stay in the center of Helsingor and to be honest I wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is a small bit dated but this is made up for with the super friendly staff and the excellent breakfast. I really do recommend to get the breakfast as it was an excellent spread and really good value in comparison to others we have experienced. Also our room had the most beautiful view. Would recommend, thank you :)

Small but efficient for a short stay

Very small room which feels even more congested if you go there during a humid heatwave. The breakfast was good so we started off the day well. The sink was halfway in the shower, which takes maybe ten minutes for the warm/hot water to work.

Just a few minutes walk from the train station and ferry, but unable to hear any public transport noise from my room. It’s a charming older hotel providing you the basic needs when travelling. Located in the Old Town. Walking distance to everything. Kronberg Castle is only a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. The walls are thin and the floors creak, but I found it just added to the atmosphere. Felt safe as a solo female traveller. Would recommend it.

Such a nice hotel, very romantic and suitable for the historic city of Elsinore! The room was very small but cozy and clean. I missed a little fridge and perhaps a towel more. But all over a very good experience! Nice service, they played very loud music from the restaurant kitchen one of the nights, but I went down and talked to them and they were very nice and apologized and turned it down.

Very well situated hotel in old building close to castle, train station, main street. Room seemed to be larger from the photos, but it had all we needed for the stay. View from the window was beautiful. Breakfast area simply amazing with lot of food choice. Parking is interesting, but easily doable.

It couldn't be closer to the train station/ferry terminal. It took all of a minute to walk there. Checkin took one or two minutes. There is an elevator which holds three or four people. Walking in the old town area where the hotel is is a pleasure with all the shops and cafés. It's very close to Kronborg Castle as well. We did not take advantage of the breakfast so I have no comments about it. It's a good value hotel. I believe it's the same hotel where I stayed in 1979 and it is just as fine as it was back then. Highly recommended.
