The property is very quaint and cozy but the rooms are extremely spacious. There’s a full kitchen with dishes, sink, microwave and large refrigerator. There’s spacious closets and a dining area as well. The twin beds were off in its own little nook as if to feel like it was in a separate room. It wasn’t much extra stuff but I gave that section a 5 because they had a full laundry room guest could use for free. And when on a long vacation, laundry facilities are always a plus. Right next door Is a Mediterranean Restaurant with the best Risotto ever. I enjoyed my 1-day stay in Helsinki.

I liked the spacious, high ceilings apartment located in an older building with an attractive art deco style. The view from my window was of a playground which is probably even nicer in the warmer months when the trees are green. The building is very quiet which was ideal for resting in the evening. This neighbourhood has lots of character, is pleasant to walk around and is well located for walking to the city centre. Over the holidays, the reception office was only open for limited hours so getting answers to questions was not instant, but it did not deter from an otherwise good stay.

Great location (walking distance to main shopping area, restaurants) in a quiet residential neighborhood. Great value, very spacious, open floor plan. I paid 30-40% more for other hotel rooms that were 1/3 of the size of this accommodation.

Location is very good and very close to main railway station and trams. Hotel doesn’t offer breakfast They clean room only after guest departure and doesn’t clean the apartments every day. TV has just few programs only Finnish. Some renovation will be good.

Good location, close to the central station or Kamppi station which is easy to access. The building itself is kind of old so I could hear noises from outside of the room. Good enough to stay economy. Friendly staffs.

Stayed 4 nights in Helsinki. Hotel is in close proximity to the central station and a 15 minute walk to the central area of town. A more cost effective option to other accommodation on offer. Overall building looks quite dated and internally could do with a freshen. It’s basic yet comfortable. Room was spacious as described, kitchen bench top could be relaxed as had cracks in bench. Very strong spell constantly radiating from the stairwell which could at times be smelt in the room. Almost smelt like rotten eggs. Advised reception who did apologise but didn’t seem to be too concerned with the smell. Nice to have the space of a self contained apartment and access to kitchen. Washing facilities in basement, pay €1/wash for washing powder or buy your own box at Lidl for €2 (much more cost effective). Sauna was also not working during stay. If you want a budget stay in Helsinki then this will do it could also suggest looking for other options.
