Wonderful Watermill

Lovely stay, staff friendly and welcoming. Good knowledge of area and gave good advice on local walks. 10% off voucher given for pub across the road, which was excellent, and breakfast was lovely. Nothing too much trouble for staff and even had our case taken to our room (first time in a long time).

Although this hotel is slightly outdated, could probably do with a freshern up (the reception smelt a bit musky). The receptionist was lovely and the hotel staff very friendly. The bed was suprisingly comfortable and I slept well.

Watermill hotel

I love how peaceful it is here, there are 3 lovely pubs, all different in menus and atmosphere, and its only a half hour walk to drift limits london motor circuit or another lovely eatery, the fishery inn. The accommodation has free widi, spacious parking, a decking area with a lovely view of the river and the staff are very helpful and polite. Ill definitely bbe back again and again

My stay at the Wateemill was very pleasant and my room (I booked superior) was really lovely, comfortable and very quiet. Unfortunately, the outside of the building lets it down and my initial thought on arrival was that I’d made a bad mistake however it’s a great place to stay, and felt very safe. The pub over the road (The White Horse) offers a fab menu choice and has a great atmosphere. Plus guests from Watermill get 10% off! Alesha who was on reception was absolutely amazing and so very helpful, she really made every guest feel welcome. My only main complaint would be the pressure of the water in the shower… Would I stay again?? yes definitely.

Not really worth the price paid.

The whole motel had a very damp musty smell about it probably due to the fact it was built over a river. The shower head was loose and dropped and we had to jury rig a method to keep it up whilst showering. Many of the power outlets didn't work.

A Room with a View

Part of the Sure Collection of Best Western. Really nice setting with 2 pubs directly across the road for dining options. My room was on the ground level and looked directly on to the car park so the car was only a few feet from the door which was really convenient. Really nice and friendly staff and very helpful. The room was really well decorated, up to date and clean. A nice big, comfy bed and double headed shower. There was a lovely view of the river which ran outside of the hotel. Breakfast was really well cooked and got the day off to the best start. Great value for money stay with only a couple of minor things stopping a 5 out of 5 review but would definitely look to stay here again.

Room ok, shower awful...cold!! So that's not good enough!! So dated could do with an improvement, carpet not that clean bits everywhere! Sound coming from window so can hear Road, can hear people being noisy above the room!

We were greeted with a very warm welcome to the hotel. Check in took a matter of minutesm we were then shown to our room. Which was very spacious with a large bathroom.it may have been a little dated, but it added to uts charm we also had the watermill directly outside our room... Breakfast was included and made to order and they also catered for our dietary requirements.

Nice stay but shower was lacking.

Whilst the room showed signs that it had recently refurbished, the bed was comfortable, room was a nice size. The water pressure for the shower was lacking, the rain shower was more like drizzle. Overall an enjoyable stay, staff were friendly and accommodating, the setting was lovely and breakfast was plentiful.
