"It was perfect for our getaway. We needed quiet time away from our busy lives and celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We also wanted to include our border collie. Casper loved being able to roam about freely. You could hear the sounds of birds and the Delaware River. We didn’t get any WiFi but that was ok for us."

"Clean rooms. Nice instruction booklet - only missing wifi information. Didn't know what to do with towels/dishes but since they had a dish washer and washing machine, I put my items there. Great amenities! Would definitely stay again!"

"We had such a dreamy and relaxing stay here! Elga puts so much thought and care into taking care of her guests. Every single detail is taken care of and we had everything we could have possibly needed. The outdoor space is gorgeous - while we came on a rainy weekend, the campfire looked so cozy. And we had the best sleep of our lives! There is ample space for a small group and every bed is super comfy. There is an adorable downtown area just 15 minutes away. The scenery all around was incredible. Such a beautiful fall escape! Could not recommend enough. Thank you, Elga!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The hosts were so friendly, responsive, and thorough, gave us a great orientation of the home when we first arrived. This is the perfect blend of private but not remote, and my family had a great time hiking and enjoying the lake. The house is incredibly well-stocked, with everything from linens and blankets and towels to firewood, spices, books and games, etc. I definitely hope to be back for a longer stay soon! The only issue we had during our stay was that some of the adult men said they had trouble sleeping in the alcove beds on the second floor, so maybe avoid assigning those beds to bigger people. Other than that, there were some complaints about there not being enough lighting in some of the shared bedrooms or the banquet hall. I think this could be easily fixed if you plan to bring some nightlights or a lamp, especially considering nearly everything else is already provided for you. From sunrise to midnight there was something beautiful to explore or watch on the grounds, and this was the most comfortable and relaxed stay I’ve had in a while. We were a group of 27 people and the home never felt crowded and it never felt like there was nowhere for a group to gather. The home is beautiful and clean on both the inside and outside, and Scott and Ann have done an incredible job curating a wonderful experience for their guests. Could not recommend enough!"
