Great place, convenient location near Hendersonville NC. Four friends stayed at the house for the Hope Dealer Training Conference. We had lots of room to hangout after the conference each day. The host was very nice and communicated promptly. I would highly recommend this house.
The property was exactly what we needed for our move to Hendersonville. A great fenced backyard with a huge deck and patio made the summer quite enjoyable. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to downtown Hendersonville, Jackson Park and the Oklawha trail for riding our bikes. Owners were great and very responsive.
The house was exceptionally clean, plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. The location was in an older part of town, but was very quiet. The only complaint we had about the property was there were no blinds in the kitchen/dining area and both recliners on the couch were broken.

Work trip
The listing showed a shade cover on the patio- there wasn’t one. Grass needed to be cut. There were no blinds in the dining room or kitchen . We were there for several days for an event we work and there were no dressers to put clothes in. No end tables in the living room. As we were gone most of the day for work it wasn’t bad- would not rent for a vacation. Neighborhood was run down. Bed slept well and the home interior was clean. Outside unkept.
Communication was excellent and the home was perfect for our group! We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back for our next trip to the area
We were close by so many things to do - we shopped and ate downtown, drove 25 minutes to Looking Glass Waterfall and had a great time! Everything was clean and comfortable for our stay at the property!
The house is very nice with a spacious back yard. Dogs loved the space to run with the private surroundings. House had a nice layout and easy access. Would stay again
This property is well updated, has all necessary supplies and is in a fantastic location! The owner responds quickly to questions although we didn’t really have any concerns whatsoever just general questions. Can’t go wrong with this property!
Our stay was very pleasant but there were just a few issues..i saw a few ants on the counter and when i cut the kitchen sink on, only the spray nozzle worked and we couldn't get it to do anything else. The lights seemed to flicker real bad when using the stove/microwave and the guest bathroom sink backed up. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much and would go back again! It was small yet had enough sleep space for everyone!
The house is clean and well maintained. When we arrived we played horseshoes in the backyard, we only found 3 horseshoes. We were here for Synod so only used for sleeping and getting ready. Note: universal remote volume control was foreign to me. I texted for assistance but didn’t hear back. One in our party returned about 90 minutes later and told me to pull the actual button down or push it up. Pressing the button only mutes or unmutes. We loved the comfort of the master bed’s mattress and had the best night’s sleep away from home. Neighborhood was quiet for sleeping.

Overall our stay was nice but the property “facts” and pictures were misleading. Pics show chairs in each room (none there now), blinds on all the windows (none at all in dining room or kitchen-we had to hang sheets up) and the listing stated there was cable but it is wireless internet only. If you want to watch something you have to use your personal log ins or you can message the host and she will provide hers. Communication was ok. Was told to call with any questions or issues (which I did) to only be told to communicate via texts. Got some responses in a timely manner but had a question about the heating system to which I never got a response. Overall it’s a nice property but just wanted to convey the whole picture for anyone who might be interested in booking.

Quiet Stay
I wasn't sure about the property when we turned off of 176 as that part of the area is "junky" old broken down trailers & houses. Going away from 176 on Brooklyn the area is much nicer. It was a 20 minute drive to Dupont Forest and not far from downtown Hendersonville or Asheville. The unit itself only sleeps 6 not 9 although someone could sleep on the couch. There is plenty of floor space for air mattresses or sleeping bags however. The yard was overgrown a bit but the unit was clean. It's been a while since the property has had maintenance. Tile is discolored and there's some water damage in the main bathroom...possible mold? Bifold doors by the washer/dryer fell off, keurig doesn't work, there's no toaster, only 3 dining chairs (we had to eat in shifts). When we first pulled in the neighbor with about 6 cars sitting around was making a lot of noise working on one or more of them. Overall though things quieted down and we didn't have any problems.
The weather during the visit was lousy, but house on the property had a very quiet and efficient climate control system. Just set the system for your desired temperature and it stayed there, in all the rooms, and in spite of a temp range of -3 to 29 degrees F. The layout of the house was wonderful and the property was well maintained and quiet. The neighbors seemed friendly. Plenty of parking and it had a nice patio and fire pit which we used on the one day the wind was not blowing. We would visit this place again if the need arose.
We had a great stay! The fenced-in yard was perfect for our pups, and we appreciated that we could bring them along. The house was incredibly clean and close to town. All in all, just what we needed for a comfortable getaway. Thank you so much, Heather!
Wish we were there during warmer months to enjoy the out door space! We had a great time. The home was super close to downtown and everything we wanted to do. I would recommend!
Location was short drive to the downtown area. Neighborhood is an older one with small homes. Trailer park near by was a little run down but the street itself was quiet. Houses are close by with very little privacy. Back yard is big and fenced in. Perfect for dogs. Other houses back up to the back yard. House is very clean and bathrooms have been updated. TV has only one channel basically. It is a smart TV so there are different apps to use.... Netflix etc. Kitchen has a few pots and pans and basic utencils. Be sure to bring extra trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels.
Over all the house was very nice, clean and perfect for our stay. It may look small from the front but it has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Outdoor deck was nice during sunny weather. Shade tarp only. Not water proof. I would not hesitate to return. Pleasant over all.
We spent 2 nights at this rental. It was clean, comfy, and very well supplied. My only suggestion would be that the owner could add a few end tables to the living area and a comfy chair for each of the 2 larger bedrooms. The rental process and check-in were easy. We would definitely stay here again.
The home is located in an ideal location; close to several apple orchards and downtown Hendersonville or Flat Rock.
The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.
The back yard is very private and cozy. We spent our evenings gathered around the fire pit.
Although the home seemed small from the outside, our family of 6 had plenty of room. Would recommend this home!
