"There are 2 Thon hotel in Svolvær. Thon Hotel Lofoten and Thon Hotel Svolvær.... We spent 3 nights in Thon Hotel Svolvær and 1 night in Thon Hotel Lofoten. All are very near to each other and very close to the Jetty. Clean. Breakfast almost the same every morning"

"The bathroom door didn’t close. There was insulation from inside the door? on the floor.. No tea or coffee provided, 1 disposable cup. I have stayed here before and it was much better."

"Traveled with my daughter to Svolvær. We had a balcony room which I would say is a must, far better to be able to relax above the water and watch the boats go by than to look over a parking lot. The room and en suite were both comfortable and spacious enough that the two of us did not feel cramped. I would love to know what the mattresses were made of. Throughout Norway all of them were the same three inch thick material but immensely comfortable. Seemed like a very green choice. The staff was welcoming and helpful during check in and out and any time we had a question. We ate the breakfast buffet once, it had extensive fresh and delicious choices, well worth the price. Overall A+ accomidations."

"The front desk clerk, Joseph, was very helpful. The hotel property was great. We were here off season, but still loved the area. Many of the shops were closed because we got in late on a Saturday but the Mix was open. We hiked nearby and took advantage of Joseph’s restaurant recommendation the Fiskekrogen which was excellent. I strongly recommend the fish soup. "
