"Ride in to Carter’s Hideaway on Thursday evening in the dark was interesting, but we were rewarded with an excellent experience for 5 days/4 nights!! Not much was left to guesswork, as switches were well labeled, everything worked as expected, facilities were very well maintained, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time away from Martinsville Speedway. Would love to be there when the pool is open, but enjoyed the hot tub every day."

"This cute little cabin was exactly what we wanted. It had everything we needed and the area was beautiful. The sound of the rain on the porch roof was an added bonus- we sat on the porch and just relaxed and listened. We definitely recommend staying here!"

"Well outside anyway, but in Moo Meadows, it was cozy and warm! Second trip was just as magical as my first last year - love the views, the cabin, and the quiet! "Very rustic as described. Could be updated some for more comfort. Gas ran out while we were there. Keurig didnt work. Emailed host and tried to call but no answer at all. First vrbo ive been asked to wash my own linens but charged a cleaning fee. Beautiful country setting and cabin was stocked with essentials, just not for comfort. "
