"Very impressive and welcoming hotel. Breakfast was great apart from the horrible scrambled egg - I’d recommend giving the scrambled egg a miss. Room 104 is more like an apartment and had everything I needed. Need to get a taller cleaner though, who can reach the bathroom window…"

"The accommodation is excellent for the price with great links to Cardiff via Newport train station. Newport is wales version of Burnley but it’s a cheap place to stay. Had all the cooking equipment I needed and the room was clean with a decent shower. Will use again."

"The rooms aircon was broken, we were not informed of this. They had provided an alternative aircon machine and freestanding fan, however both were very noisy so unable to have on when trying to sleep, which meant a restless night due to temperature and no fresh air.
