"the cabin is private once you are inside you face the woods but it is off route 32, if you use the hot tub you are facing woods which gives you privacy. I wanted a quiet weekend to celebrate my girlfriend's Bday which the cabin did suit that purpose otherwise not much to do in the local town of Cairo you blink you'll miss it. Overall as I said for a romantic getaway of just staying in it was good and the place is clean and Kitchen well stocked.. I wouldn't rent in summer because I didn't find...

"This home is every bit as charming as the pictures! My 10 year old really enjoyed the basket of goodies, activities and coloring. My kids also enjoyed playing in the yard and the badminton set. The upstairs deck was perfect for relaxing and star gazing. The location is great with an easy walk into town for breakfast or dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"We come up to Windham every year for a big family reunion. This house was perfect for my family since we had 9 of us this year.it was more rooms than we needed but the house looked beautiful in the VRBO listing so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed. The house itself was very comfortable for all of us. 3 of the bedrooms were suites with bathrooms in them which was so great The views from the house both during the day and at night were amazing. "Lovely cabin in beautiful setting. A highlight was relaxing in the comfortable sofa and rockers on the screened porch. Equipped with all you need. Great large lawn for Frisbee (or anything else). Easy access to Phoenicia and Woodstock. And the swimming hole! Beautiful, private, with cool flowing water, can’t be beat on a warm day. Very responsive and helpful hosts. Will be back!"
