We only spent one night here and arrived in the evening. The hotel is very nice and had a small restaurant where we had dinner. The pool was lovely and clean and we were able to find parking for our rental car. I would have booked this hotel again on our return to Heraklion, but it was full and we couldn't get a reservation. It's convenient to the port and the airport.

We stayed here at the start and finish of our Crete experience. A lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful pool, good food and drinks, great location (close to beaches, old town, port, and airpirt). Definitely recommend!!

Good hotel for a quick stay if you are leaving early or arriving late at Heraklion airport. Good location close to airport. Comfortable stay and good breakfast.

Lovely stay near the airport

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel. It has a restaurant,outdoor pool, pool cafe, business/ computer cornor. We had an easy check-in. Friendly staff.

Local gem

Super close to the airport and was close to where I wanted to be as I was in Crete for a friend's wedding. Pool area was nice with enough sun loungers for October. I stayed in a single room and was a decent size for the little time I spent in there. It had a tiny balcony attached, which I wasn't expecting but was nice to sit outside in the evening and read. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel staff was very nice! Super easy and quick check in for a one night stay between flights and other stays. Pretty clean except for the shower. One of the dirtiest showers I have ever used. Hair was all over stuck in the shower door along with dark scum all over the tiles. Really gross and I was super disappointed in that. Other than that I thought the hotel was clean in other areas, but could use an upgrade. Also the bed was made with no fitted sheet and just two top sheets which I also find kind of gross because it wasn’t made with the second top sheet. Good for one nights if you need something quick but would not want to stay longer.

Good location if you've arrived late & have a car & need to head out either east or west on the highway (E75/E90) the next day, since it's on the corner of Stadiou St which takes you directly to the highway (3 min). I was going to Falassarna so it was perfect. Nice breakfast for only 8€ & the pool looked great, even though I didn't try it. Might stay there again on the way home.

Property was fine for our purposes- wanted to see some sights in Heraklion and wanted location close to Ferry port to return rental car there and catch morning ferry. Onsite parking was helpful. I also chose because of laundry facilities- which is send out- because we were leaving early, I drove to their laundry service and left large bag of clothes and then retrieved that evening after sightseeing.

Convenient to airport, with pool!

Stayed here just one night before flying out of Heraklion airport, which is about 3 minutes drive from Sofia Hotel. The property is nice, and even though we didn't have time to use it, the pool looked very inviting. There are snack bar & breakfast options, but we didn't try them. I must've accidentally booked us a triple, or else something got lost in translation, because we ended up with extra beds but the room looked like it was built for 1 (or 2 twins), so it was crowded in there, but it was fine for the night. We slept in the one which looked like it had been brought in as extra, because the usual one was extremely hard without any padding. Other than that, no complaints, and definitely a good spot for an overnight coming into or out of the airport in Heraklion.
