In and around Herdwangen-Schönach there is an extensive network of hiking trails. Horse riding, carriage rides, cycling, tennis etc. are also possible.
We are known for our child-friendliness. Our restaurants and pubs offer home-style cooking. There is a bakery and a small shopping center only 1 km away from our vacation apartment/room. You will also find a bank and a post office in the village. Herdwangen-Schönach can look back on over 800 years of history. It is not only the many small churches and chapels that still bear witness to this today. You should not miss a visit to the famous Lourdes Grotto in Großschönach and the Ruhestetter Ried nature reserve, a fen complex that was formed during the Ice Age.
