"This is an amazing stop for anyone riding the Katy (or anyone visiting Hermann). We found it a perfect stop at the end of the long day of riding. It was right off the trail and they made it easy (so we didn't have to go out that day). The communication was great; the place was lovely. We would absolutely stay here anytime I'm visiting this area. "

"Wonderful historic hotel with notes to read about past events. It can really help you imagine the 1800s, since it was lovingly restored with the goal of looking just like it did. Laurie was kind, helpful and thoughtful too. Room stayed cool and we enjoyed passing trains. Easy to walk around town with dining options and you could walk to it from the Amtrak station. The only suggestion would be to have a hanger or 2 in the room and maybe some bottles of water, although the room had a glass bottle filled with water in the room fridge, a Keurig, and some other drinks complimentary downstairs. Really lovely stay and no complaints. Hermann is a neat town and we felt safe. "
