"We stayed in the cottages, which overlooked the Missouri river and railroad tracks. I enjoyed setting on the deck in the evening watching them. The cottage we stayed in met or exceeded our expectations. We will stay there again. One thing we found out is that most of the restaurants in Herman close on Tuesday and Wednesday so we will not be staying in Hermann on those evenings again. "If you like the feel of an era of a time gone by, you will not be disappointed. This place has been restored to spindler and makes the entire place easier to just relax.
