Unfortunately we were met by a dead armadillo (under the waterfall that is not functioning) and multiple dead koi fish (in the cute little pond they have at the entrance, but not cute when you look in it) Besides the dead animals, the stay was pleasant and staff was friendly. We stayed 3 nights, and were told s’mores were available and a fire would be lit every night for them. Not a single night did they light it, and by “s’mores time” all the staff had already gone home...

"The “breakfast “was stale toast,a bowl with some apples,waffles you made yourself and 2 cereal choices NOT the super breakfast advertised on billboard sign at motel. We ask for clean towels in the AM and received them at 10:30pm after returning and having to ask for them again and waiting while they retrieved from laundry room. "If you like the feel of an era of a time gone by, you will not be disappointed. This place has been restored to spindler and makes the entire place easier to just relax. The staff on duty were attentive without being intrusive and we were able to be ourselves. I really hope we get a chance to return as I would really really enjoy a longer stay."

The manager of the restaurant/bar has nothing to do with the inn! Expedia did not show that this was self check in and that a code would be emailed to us!
