"The cottage is lovely - reminding me of one my Great Aunt owned on the South Shore. Warm, inviting, the hosts were extremely helpful and easy to reach when necessary. So many amenities to choose from and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. I would definitely rent this location again. "

"The setting was beautiful! The kitchen sink and shower were so disgusting, we went to town for cleanser and cleaned them before we could use them. The refrigerator was dirty and had other peoples food (condiments etc) in it. There were cob webs with spiders and eggs under the table in the living room. We only stayed 2 nights of our three booked. There wasn't a can opener or toaster in the kitchen. There were also two gun safes in our cabin! "

"We found the Sunset Hideaway to be the best rental experience we've had in the Hubbard Lake area. The cottage is spacious and updated but, still gives you that up-north feeling. It had just about everything we needed and the view is amazing. The owners hospitality and communications with us was top notch. We hope to rent there again."

"I was immediately put off by the strong smell of stale cigarette smoke. It is listed as a non smoking property. The rental had everything one could need but it could all get a good cleaning. The water must be very hard because the bathroom sinks and toilets were severely stained. "
