"Amazing break at Stella Palace. Everything was super clean, and all the staff we encountered were courteous, happy and helpful. Food is great, but the main buffet restaurant is super busy and can be a little repetitive. Staff do try to make it as pleasant as can be. The option of the a la carte restaurants is a winner! Made the evenings less chaotic than the buffet and the food was lovely. Room clean and tidy, and bottles of water dropped off daily etc. Only thing, if you want to get out and about because the hotel is a little isolated car hire should be considered, because taxis are not cheap, they seem to be €50 each way to go anywhere, which can quickly add up….this is not a fault of the hotel, just something we would consider if we came again."

"We had a fantastic stay at The Island. The hotel staff were attentive and courteous, going out of their way to ensure our stay was the best it could be. The beach was excellent, as were the different pool areas within the hotel, offering something for everyone. Breakfast was also very good, although we did not eat at the hotel during the evening, due to the various restaurants available close by. "

"We had a two week stay May2024 and I have to say, we had a fantastic stay. We arrived just before the beginning of the season and it was pretty dead to be honest which was really nice to spend the first few days to relax. We mainly stayed by the pool most days and was very well looked after by Claudia who is a real asset to the team. She’s relentless in making sure you are well looked after. My main frustration is the rule around the use of the sun mattresses (yes that’s not a typo) around the pool being €150 a day. That’s ridiculous and there were only 1 or 2 being used, mainly after a certain time in the afternoon when things start to wind down. Personally, this is the one thing that needs to change as that’s a silly price. The food and booze is excellent although on the expensive side, you do get what you pay for so make sure if you don’t have all inclusive, you bring some cash. Everything else was brilliant, all of the team at the front desk and buffet breakfast should get a massive shout out. If we ever had an issue, it was sorted pretty much immediately. The hotel is situated 10 minute walk from the main town and you will find some brilliant local tavernas around there to complement your stay. Enjoy!!"

"From the 5 Star welcome, which included the hostess receiving us with beverages,tour of the property and helping us to familiarize ourselves with the hi-tech features in our room, to the excellent breakfast and overall experience, it is definitely a class of its own. We stayed in a seaview room which also came with a private pool. The room was well furnished, including blackout curtains, and they always maintained the room by making the bed in our absence and also left sweet treats and wine for us. The review will not be complete without mentioning the guest relations staff. Angeliki and Sofia were the two staff members who ensured we had a comfortable stay and answered all our questions about the hotel, the general area, dinner recommendations etc. They were extremely friendly and helpful and were there to greet us at breakfast and later in the evening. When there was a technical issue with the TV in the room, Sofia appeared right away and helped us figure it out and also had the technician show up immediately. She was informative about the village (Chersonissos), While we immensely enjoyed their excellent breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, baked goods etc., and the hospitality during the breakfast, our stay would have been perfect if the restaurants offered more choices of vegetarian dishes for dinner. We dined only one night in the restaurant as the options were quite limited for vegetarian entrees and sides. Hoping to see more vegetarian options during our next visit. "

"Excellent hotel, everything from rooms to food to staff was excellent. Drinks are also excellent and not the cheap stuff you usually get with all inclusives. Having the restaurants within the hotel is very convenient and the food there is also great. Added bonus of having a desert restaurant which stays open into the night. "
