"I have to say I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Christian, the manager owner, was extremely helpful and gracious in all matters. As an English speaker I had no problems at all. Their bistro serves excellent food, which I recommend to anyone who stays here. My room was both clean and stylish. Damme is a beautiful town that's only a 15 minute walk away. The surrounding countryside was also beautiful, and reminded me very much of my home in Ohio, USA. Should I be coming to this part of Germany again, I will definitely try to book another stay here. "This hotel has been providing excellent service for 20 years that I know of. Its not fancy, its classy and understated. The restaurant downstairs has fantastic food and a comfortable classy ambiance. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is large, and the outside balcony off the room is a delight during good weather. I will stay here again when in Vechta horse shopping. "
