Very clean with all the amenities (and more) needed for a couple of nights. We appreciated the quick walk down to the marina, and drinking coffee on the Inn grounds the next morning. My family only stayed here one night after leaving Michigan Adventure's en route to Sleeping Bear Dunes. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm face. I was asked a few times if i enjoyed my room (not annoyingly). The rooms were very nice and clean. The sheets and bed were comfortable. The bathrooms were a little dated but the toiletries were nice.
