"Had an amazing time, 100% will try my hardest to return. Here are small things I wish I knew ahead of time: —Quiet hours are NOT strictly enforced. Sometimes live music will be going past 11pm. Not a big deal but if you have a small child maybe request a room away from the stage area. —Avoid going on a “shopping excursion” on May 1st, everything is closed for the national labor holiday —Sargassum / sea grass is definitely a thing on the beach however they work tirelessly to take care of it. The beach is very swimable and safe. Had a great time, the water is relatively shallow for at least 50 meters from the shore —There are non-resort vendors on the beach. 99% of them are professional, polite, and cool. One in particular was very pushy and basically came across predatory. Would have preferred to know this ahead of time to avoid this specific beach area all together. There is a LOT of beach to walk and most of it is just open without any vendors it’s just a small area that has the vendors and like I said most of them will leave you alone. —Sufriere excursion was amazing. JT the driver was so cool. —All the restaurants were great. My most favorite was calabash, followed by seasons. —Vegan options were plenty! If you are vegan or vegetarian go to Seasons and order 1 of everything. —The kids area is amazing and drop off is optional. You can just go hang with your kid! The customer service and hospitality here is unmatched. Absolutely worth every penny. Go to this resort!"

"Lively property with an amazing view of the Pitons. This was a last minute getaway so room options were limited but I choose what was called a garden view room and was pleasantly surprised to find the front patio of the cottage overlooking the Pitons. Property is just outside of town, but it's on a very steep windy hill so walking to and from town would be tough, but doable for the hearty. Beach in the area is so-so, but Anse Chastanet beach is just outside of town, but its down a very rough, rocky, narrow road leaving you holding your breath you don't meet an oncoming car. The beach itself is so-so, sand is darker, and it's on the sister properties of Anse Chastanet and Jade resorts, but the water is absolutely beautiful and clear. I couldn't get out of it. But Samfi Gardens was a peaceful retreat and would stay again and recommend."

"One of the most beautiful views I've ever seen in my life. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. The only suggestion I have for the resort is getting room service delivered a little bit faster but overall it was one of the best places my wife and I have ever stayed at and can't wait to be back. "This villa is located in a prime location with magnificent views of the piton and ocean. It’s up on a ridge surrounded by floral gardens, with visits from lizards and birds. The patio was perfect place to relax with a zen-like atmosphere. We spent 75% of our time there playing games, relaxing and eating. The pool is secluded and private, with refreshing water. The rooms are open air with screens over shutters. As expected, mosquitos are present. But the fans, peppermint oil, and nets did help prevent bites. Breakfast was prepared by Tamara with an assortment of delicious seasonal fruits, eggs made to order, smoothies and anything else requested. We had dinner prepared several nights, which were delicious creole dishes. Tamara and Cletus went above and beyond as hosts, making us feel very comfortable and welcomed. Best warm and friendly hosts we’ve ever experienced. Would go back!Rent a car and you can drive to the beautiful Anise Mamín (our favorite is this one and secluded beach next to it) and Sugar beach if desired (not as great as advertised). Right below the house (2min walk) is project chocolate, which has a wide variety of food, alcohol and coffee to enjoy. The botanical gardens and Jurassic trail were some of the highlights of our visit. There are about 4-5 restaurants at resorts nearby (all within a 10 min beautiful walking distance) that offer great food as well. The sulfur springs are NOT walkable (all steep downhill), but you can park for free or have driver. "

"Staying here was a dream. We stayed in a cottage, up in the hills, set all the way back in the rainforest. It was quiet, romantic, and tranquil. The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful throughout the entire trip. Our cab and shuttle drivers were amazing and informed us of the history of St. Lucia as we drove. The resort offers a free shuttle to Sugar Beach, which has a section of chairs you can pay for or a section for free (first come basis). The dining options at Fond Doux were delicious, fresh, and used local ingredients. We really enjoyed the cuisine. The pools on the property were great. One of them has an outdoor area with a wall of books. Another, newer pool, has tables and a beautiful view of the rainforest. Overall, we were so happy with our experience and would absolutely come back to stay in the future."
