"Our experience was perplexing from the start, with directions so inadequate that we had to ask the way. When we arrived I was attacked by geese at large in the grounds. Despite profuse apologies from the owner's wife, and the geese then confined to a wired pen, the owner said he wouldn't be lectured, walking away when I offered some advice on the facilities. "We chose to stay in an executive room. The room was clean although I was advised that the accessible room option which I would have preferred wasn't as nice. We found the bathroom a bit claustrophobic and not suitable for my needs. The staff were friendly and helpful. However when we checked in we were advised that there was no access to the phone. While seeking clarification we didn't the suggestion that we moved to a sister hotel as I am a disabled ,making me feel that we should put or shut up. I wasn't happy that there was no concessions on the charges for disabled parking and there was only one disabled parking bay per floor. The breakfast options were varied. The hot options were fresh and well presented. "
