"Lovely place with spacious rooms and charmy brick walls. Rooms were clean and functional. Some wear and tier is everyware. But it was not critical for us. Unfortunately the food in restaurant (bistro) over dinner was not meeting our expectations and was overpriced. All the fried bits were cooked on old smelly oil, so we were not able to eat it. "The room was a good size and clean. The room was cleaner and fresher than previous stays at this property. The online check in process was not as smooth as previous stays."

"Check in took forever for them to find a key, the blanket on the Queen bed had what I *hope* was a thick chocolate stain. There was a melted lolly(?) on the floor that I only saw when I stepped in it, and a cockroach on the wall during the night that I had to kill. And the smells! The room had a terrible odour, and the spray fragrance in the hallway was so strong I literally had to breath through my jumper when leaving the room at all. Stayed for a stopover from Melbourne to Brisbane, very glad...

"The bed seem clean but the floor could have done with a good vacuum & disinfecting. Some mandarin seeds were lying in the corners."

"The room was outstanding and the staff were excellent. However the free WiFi did not work in our cabin only in the pool area and the pool was unlocked late. Otherwise i would have given 5 stars"
