Very much enjoyed our stay here. It was a great location for a quite get away. Close to Helen and many other sites to visit. The host was a pleasure to deal with and communication was easy. The cabin was neat and clean with everything we needed. Even a nice out door area with a firepit and wood to burn. Will definitely visit again.
We found this cabin to be clean and quiet just as advertised. It had everything we needed and even had a Christmas tree and decorations up for our arrival! Hoyt was very responsive to all of our questions and personally made sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect...about half way between Hiawassee and Helen. Even though the overnight temps were down in the 20's the cabin stayed warm and cozy. We'll stay there again.
This was a surprise trip for my husband and this cabin did not disappoint. Very cute bear decor everywhere with cute little accents. Super clean and the host was super friendly and helpful. Definitely plan on returning again.
Very quiet and clean cabin for a getaway. Close to all your main hwys to get around in the area. A huge plus is the firewood for the fireplace outside that was a very nice addition.

Cabin stay
Loved everything about the cabin except I feel the tub was a little hard to get in and out and would be especially hard for older adults. Loved the furnishings and decor. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.
Great centrally located cabin in North Georgia Mountains
The cabin was everything we needed and wanted. It was in the perfect location. Near Helen, Hiawassee, High Shoals Water fall, etc. Only wish we had more time.
The property was very clean, well equipped, and nicely decorated. Everything was in good shape. Isolated enough to be peaceful but close enough to Hiawassee and Helen to enjoy activities.
This is the second year my boyfriend and I have stayed in this exact cabin, and we absolutely love it! We hope to return again next year when we take our vacation. The location is great, and Mr. Hoyt is very nice! We would recommend this to anyone looking for a cozy getaway that's off the beaten path, but also close enough to all the good attractions.
We were delighted with the cabin and the beautiful setting. Our two-year-old granddaughter loved watching the fish eat at the small pond and walking around enjoying the leaves "raining" down around her. The cabin was conveniently located near all the sights we wanted to see. Hoyt responded to our needs promptly and was a gracious host.
The time my family spent in this cabin was just as we had hoped. The location is great and we took advantage of everything around us, including tubing and shopping in Helen, hiking the mountains, spending the day on the nearby lake, and most of all trout fishing!! The cabin was clean and the host Hoyt was more than accommodating, even helped us out with a small issue with our trailer. We can't wait to return!
This was a great place! It was very clean and quiet. My kids loved feeding the fish in the fish pond and using the wood out back to build the city of Atlanta. My 5yr old listed the cabin as his favorite part of the whole vacation. My kids were fascinated by the books and games that were new to them. We even saw a baby black bear. Thank you for an excellent experience!
This was the perfect Thanksgiving getaway for our family. Don’t let the small size dissuade you. This cozy cabin lived comfortably for 2 adults and 2 kids. The bear themed decor adds to the rustic ambiance. To us, good nights rest is vital and the mattresses in this cabin (1 king and 2 twins) were top notch and allowed us to rest comfortably. Having access to a full washer and dryer was also a beautiful bonus. The fire pit out back was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.
This is a not to miss place to stay.
The cabin is beautiful the location is wonderful Hoyt was amazing very friendly. It was the cleanest cabin we have stayed in and it’s well stocked we got a lot of use out of the fire pit the property is gorgeous we didn’t get to see any bears but maybe next time we did see a baby bob cat. the location is not far from Helen and not far from stores i highly recommend this cabin to everyone that wants peace and quiet and great mountain air all the beds are also super comfy very clean sheets you can tell who ever cleans this cabin really does a good job.
This was an awesome getaway trip for the family. We have 2 children (9 and 12). They had blast playing in the yard with lots of running room. We enjoyed zip lining at Sunburst Stables and horse back riding at Chattahoochee Stables; both are nearby. We also went to Anna Ruby Falls and Brasstown Bald. Each of these areas are within a good distance, none too far. It was nice to stay away from the hustle and bustle of everything as Helen was super busy. This is definitely a trip we will take again!
The cabin was clean and had everything you need and more. We really enjoyed the fire pit with wood provided. The pond with fish and surrounding the cabin trees were beautiful. It was short and easy drive to Hiawassee and drive to Helen was a bit more challenging. The communication with the host was great. The only 2 things were that the oven was not clean( we didn’t use it anyway) and there were some opened sauces and jams in the fridge which we didn’t touch and just left them there. Overall wonderful experience we will be back. Thank you.
Beautiful Location Half-way Between Hiawassee & Helen, GA
Cutest cabin and beautiful landscape set back in the trees away from the highway. Not too far from the highway but far enough to not be bothered by traffic. We were sad that we didn't see any bears.
Hoyt is very responsive to messages and questions. Super easy check in and out.
There is another review that states how difficult the driveway is. Not true!! Driveway is self-explanatory. No trouble driving into the cabin or out.
It rained every day we were there except for one day and the day we were leaving. Even in the rain, this property is beautiful.
My only caution is if you cannot tolerate an extremely firm bed, bring an egg crate or memory foam topper with you. We purchased a memory foam topper from Walmart.
HOPE YOU SEE BEARS :)
Great property, centrally located to many attractions. The cabin was perfect for 2 of us. Property owner was very accessible and helpful. Recommend to parties of 4 or less.
We really enjoyed ourselves! The cabin and surrounding property was perfect, and Mr. Hoyt was a gracious host! Will be coming back next year definitely!
