"This was a delight! Much bigger than we expected, full of amenities and all weather functionality. Tremendous host courtesy with many extra touches. This place was extremely clean and we loved the fact we could bring our 2 Brittany Spaniels. Large luxury cabin with perfect access to lake and mountain activities. Close to shopping, and food options as well. This was a quiet, safe, and friendly location. Will definitely stay again if available!"

"This property is not the best. The photo you have on your sight is far from reality. It looks like a huge yard in the back of the house and a river, it has a yard alright but its in front not more then ten feet crom the road, the kids 5 i had 3 of them could not go out to play because it was so lose to the road. Their was no smoke alarms or cabon detector, which I was nervousThe house is very old and it has a lot of antics. I did not enjoy it at all. I feel i should some money back, my plans when i picked tbis place was because of the big back yard.which was the opposit i noticed it the difference in a few minutes. Oh the beds were horrible ,they are as old as i am and not comfortable at all. The sink in the bathroom was pluged. A big money back is what you should do. I have booked with you si nce 2years and i rented a trip in Niagara falls Canada, paris france and spain. And this one. It was terrible."

"This house should not be listed for rent. It needs a complete overhaul, is very poorly maintained and grungy. I arrived to garbage overflowing from the outside garbage cans onto the ground. The first night I could not breathe in the house due to dampness, mildrew and dog hair throughout the bedroom. When I went to open the windows, there were no screens. I could not leave the windows open due to bugs. The kitchen windows cannot be opened because there are no cranks on the window that work (or screens). This owner has 23 other properties. I asked to be relocated to one of those, but she said she had no other property available. I tried to find another home but due to holiday weekend I could not find one. There are mouse droppings in the bedroom. There is mold in the bathroom tub and ceiling, a moldy smell throughout the house, wifi went out on day 5 of trip and did not come on again, faulty electric (we could not reset the wifi because the electric panel is a danger) and a ceiling fan over the pool table that is being barely held up by a telephone wire - it is wobbly as it turns and could fall down at any minute. They want guests to throw out the water in the dehumidifier which was filled every day with the moisture in the house. The kitchen cabinets were dirty - I could not eat in the house. The rugs are torn, holes in the downstairs bedroom door, the mats in the bathroom are threadbare. VRBO should remove this listing as it is a hazard. I want a full refund. DO NOT STAY HERE"

"I waited for a week before writing this. The place is decent and can be great for large multiple families. There were a few things that diminshed the value and when I nicely advised management of what I considered negative areas I was responded to flippantly and nonresponsively - in my opinion. There was a significant leak in shower of Unit 3 - traversing all way across bathroom floor by end of shower, there were no washcloths, the TV system was complicated to find "regular" news or shows - there were 2 windows side by side with no coverings (mini-blinds or curtains ) that allowed sun to blare in and heat up the place and afforded no privacy - the same for windows in the bathroom on street level. When I advised of this I was told they don't provide washcloths, that there were pics showing no window coverings and that I hadn't reported the leak in time for them to fix it - I do not fault them the leak as that happens but when you pay a premium amount you expect washcloths and window coverings on all windows and do not feel you should have to hang sheets over windows for privacy - considering this with the fact that the house is a few feet from the road and has a lot of early morning rush hour traffic that can be heard and it is actually 20 minutes from the lake detracts from rating the place higher - with a little attention to detail and better response to customer feedback the place could be a 4 or higher!"
