"Where do I begin: we stayed at the TRU hotel which is connected to the Home2Suites hotel and both are owned by Hilton ! Now for the negatives: our room had no coffee supplies so we couldn’t make a cup of coffee without going to the lobby, the room had to drawers to use for clothing and there was no extra roll of toilet paper so my husband had to go to the lobby to acquire one!!! The food was the usual, scrambled eggs, toast , sausage. Perhaps checking out in a Monday is the reason. We will never stay at either of these Hilton properties again. (Our experience with H2S by Hilton was years ago when we stayed in Fossil Creek in Fort Worth…nothing has changed) "

"Pictures online are very deceptive. Pulled into the driveway with trash and what looked like abandoned construction projects laying under leaves and trash. Patio furniture and cushions were very dirty, thrown about and not at all what is pictured online. Interior had unfinished projects everywhere and some VERY unsafe spots (I almost fell down the stairs from laundry room where there should have been a wall or gate, there is a step down in kitchen that we had two people fall down. Communication was awful- check in was listed as 3 in one place and 4pm in another. We didn’t get door code until 4:30 with guests sitting in parking lot. Lake area was dirty, unkept. Carpet stains everywhere, toilet upstairs had a damp string to flush it. I think they are building a new house behind and just plan to bulldoze this one from the way it is taken care of. Very disappointed."

"The staff was nice. The floors had a residue on them so I didn’t want to walk without my sandals in the room. There was dried blood on a blanket. You can tell it had been washed, but that was gross. To use the electricity you had to keep the keycard in the wall. Also, I think someone was living in their car in the parking lot. "

"When I arrived on Friday evening I was exhausted. I felt like the woman who checked me in was rude but honestly I was probably not a pleasure to deal with. I was already upset because a room that I had previously paid $130 a night for was now over $300 a night with the pet fee. Even on its best day that room is not a $300 a night room. My wife and I have been staying there exclusively though every time we come to fort Worth since 2024 so I paid it. When I got in the room I had a text waiting asking about the condition of it. I hadn't even set my bags down yet. I just replied the room is fine. I should have looked around more because that was not the case. The room had missing and burnt out light bulbs, something nasty on the wall under the bathroom counter, rusted and dirty air vents, and damaged cabinetry in the kitchen. When we tried to use the TV in the bedroom after a while it made a crackling noise which made it impossible to watch. Had it been any other time I probably wouldn't have even bothered mentioning anything. But for $300 a night I felt like that was unacceptable. So at around 5:45 a.m. and then again that evening I messaged the hotel about my issues. I never heard back. I was told the next day when I checked out that a manager would be reaching out to me. I never heard back from anyone. I never even heard back from Expedia when I followed up with them because I wasn't hearing back from the hoteI. I'm thoroughly disappointed with both the hotel and Expedia."
