"I love this place. Next time I wish I could have a better view. I went there before the new rooms were added. Every time I went there, I stayed in the main building right upstairs from the check-in facing the water with my husband and I absolutely loved it. I was actually married there in the old ballroom. I was put in a room that I faced the side of the building and parking lot. I like it there because you can have your meals there if you want they should put a microwave in the rooms. I grew up there on the shore when I was a kid so it is a very pretty place. I think it’s understaffed. I saw the same woman there almost 3 shifts in a row. I think she was a manager. She was delivering drinks, which I thought was crazy and then I saw her the next morning at breakfast time being the hostess, I said to her, don’t you ever get a day off she said thank you for noticing. She was a very pleasant, nice woman, but I think it’s understaffed. I stayed there during the wrong time of year. It was spring break. Children were running up and down the hallway, which was not appropriate And they were with a parent. That’s what really got me - back in the day when I was a parent of young children, I would never let my children run up and down the hallways but times are different now -not for the better!!!"

"The hotel was beautiful as was our room. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, we did get a good bit of noise from the main road close by. Next time, we will try to request a room on the back side of the hotel."

"Overall, my day was pretty good. My only problem was when me and my husband came into the front desk. I don’t know if it’s because we were black that the lady asked us for our license plates and both of our IDs because I stay there before and they never did that. I’ll say that’s the only complaint I have that I might stay at a different motel six from now on "
