"This was my FAVOURITE stay out of my roadtrip around the UK, really fell in love with the place. It might be my princess side coming out but staying in a castle was such an experience. Highly recommend, the reception staff was so nice! We also had a drink at the library bar and ate at the restaurant which was delicious. Exceptional service all the way. It’s a hotel where a car is necessary to get around however, this should be considered when booking this hotel. This being said, I would visit again anytime! "

"Myself and my boyfriend had a lovely stay. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and situated right in the Quayside - literally a stone throw away from all the amazing bars and restaurants. The staff we had the pleasure to speak to were all so kind and helpful, professional and always welcoming. Breakfast was delicious - you could tell the ingredients were of a high quality and the dining area was clean and a lovely, open space to enjoy breakfast. The only tiny little thing I’d mention is the hairdryer in the room was pants. We stayed in a club room and the hairdryer was one of those little ones you have to hold the button on to work. I’d expect a much better hairdryer than that for the room we were in. This is just a tiny improvement I would request and had no impact on our lovely stay. In any case, any hairdryer is better than none!"

"A high standard of hotel as one would expect of a Hilton. I was also able to use the Hilton app meaning I could check in online and use my phone as my room key, thus missing the queues/waiting at the front desk "

"Staff were friendly, welcoming and informative. The room was well equipped with free tea/coffee, fridge, fan and hairdryer and bed was clean and comfy. Hotel itself could do with a bit of an upgrade but it was still a great place to stay."

"Staff are friendly, pub and grill is good but rooms were really warm at night, and it sounded like an elephant was walking above our room on the second floor. I’d suggest when booking with a child not to put us above the bar terrace, it was loud for a long time. "
