"If you are planning a trip that affords you a variety of activities while also providing a serene atmosphere full of incredible sunrises, and sunsets this is the place. From kayaking, canoeing, fishing, paddle boarding, sitting on the dock reading or drinking coffee to hanging out around the table playing games there seemed to be something for everyone. The host was hospitable, quick to respond and gracious. They even went above and beyond and provided us with marshmallows and graham crackers."

"We absolutely loved our stay! This was probably one of the best VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in. The home was beautiful, comfortable, and every detail was so thoughtfully considered. The location right on the water was perfect, and having morning coffee on the deck while enjoying the peaceful water was one of my favorite parts of our stay.We were there for our son’s wedding, and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy time with family during such a special weekend. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely love to come back!"

"This VRBO was one of the best that we have ever stayed in! We knew that only having one bathroom would be a challenge and we almost didn't rent because of that, but I'm so glad we did! The house was immaculate, totally welcoming and comfortable. We loved the screen porch with a great ceiling fan. There were towels and blankets for days. The kitchen had welcome snacks and sweets and even a fresh baked loaf of banana bread. The AC kept the house very cold which we appreciated as it was such a hot weekend. We didn't cook but I noted how well appointed the kitchen was. So many rentals don't have adequate pots and pans and serving utensils, but this house was loaded!It was hard to find a place that would accept our dog, but this house is set up for it. It has a small fenced yard off the screen porch and even sofa covers to use if needed. There was an entire drawer of just dog items if you needed them! It's out in the country but was an easy drive into Attalla where we had dinner at Hectors (a delicious Colombian restaurant) one night. I'm a big thrifter, so I was pleasantly surprised at the nice thrift stores nearby. It's just 3 miles to Interstate so convenient to get into Gadsden or wherever you need to go. We would definitely stay her again if in the area. Thanks for the hospitality!"

"Jerry was a fantastic host! If you’re looking for a private, quiet retreat this is perfect! We enjoyed looking over the balcony in the morning, seeing the sun come up, watching the turtles, and the beautiful setting! We really enjoyed taking the canoe out a couple times. Our fur babies loved being out in the Country too!"
