Excellent value for a lakefront boutique hotel/resort. Cozy lakeview restaurant with excellent food. I thoroughly enjoy my dinner and highly recommend this place before you go into Algonquin Park even though its 30 minutes away from the east entrance.

Our stay was just one short night as we were driving West to East enjoying the colors of Nature of Late September . Definetly a place to come back as the place is cozy in general with an excellent cousine on site & enjoy spectacular sun sets ,I would say ideally for a little romance at close distance from Bancroft

Unfortunately it was cool and rainy during our stay so we didn’t get to use the waterfront but we did enjoy a delicious dinner in the dining room. They had lots of board games available and the room was very comfortable with good internet and lots of tv channels for entertainment.

We stayed here somewhat unexpectedly, when a heat wave cut our camping trip short. What a gem of a spot! Not only did they accommodate us last minute, the cabin was clean and well thought out with all amenities we could need. The lake was beautiful and the dock was a great place to enjoy. We would like to return for a longer stay sometime as we didn't want to leave.

Beautiful lakefront property! We stayed for two nights—our first night was in a two-bedroom motel room with another couple, and we appreciated having a table and chairs to relax and visit. Our second night was in a lakefront king room, which was wonderful. Both rooms were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff, especially the owner, Mike, were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Beautiful setting and lovely accommodations. I loved that they provided life jackets and free use of kayaks, paddle boards and canoes. The kids loved the field to play games and the dock on the water was great for jumping into the lake. The frog pad was a big hit and kept them occupied! The fire in the evening was great, even though we had to put the kids to bed and didn't get to spend much time there. We did not use the restaurant, but maybe next time! We plan to return.

Our stay at Somerset Lakeside Resort was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Mike went above and beyond to help us when we made a mistake in our booking, and all his help to resolve it immediately made us feel welcome. The resort itself is truly a hidden gem, spotless, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by breathtaking lakeside views. It was the perfect escape from the city and exactly the peaceful getaway we needed. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a quiet and memorable lakeside retreat.
