So happy to have found this boutique hotel for the last day in Srilanka. The sushi restaurant had no digital menu on their IG account and had a very long wait time for orders but presuming that's because it was very quiet not many guests... Aside from that, beautiful experience in Hikkaduwa!

We stayed here during the offseason so there were not a lot of places open nearby and it was fairly quiet. We were the only guests at the hotel. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The hotel was great. It had a very large pool, a lovely open eating area and the rooms were fantastic. The staff were very attentive to our needs and were always available if we needed anything or had any questions. Breakfast was delicious.

This was a gorgeous place to stay for my girlfriend and I. We had a beautiful room with a balcony that looked right out to the sea over the villa's gorgeous pool and backyard. The staff was so kind. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious. It's a short tuk tuk ride from the down town area of Hikkaduwa, but it's nice to have a little peace and quiet here at this beautiful villa. I would definitely recommend it.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. It was our first experience at Sri Lanka. The location of Villa Tara at Hikkaduwa city is optimal - in jungle forest but in ten minutes from the beach also. Property is in fine condition and professionally managed. You will be provided with a top quality guest service. First time I have tried king coconut (Local says Tambili) is yummy more sweeter than coconut water. From check in to check out , they maintain personal care , hospitality. I love Authentic srilankan spicy food. Room was beautiful and I like their artworks . Rustic finish furniture look greats. I would say it was more than value for money for me .

Nice clean rooms and beautiful view. Staff were fantastic and went the extra mile to upgrade our room on short booking notice. The pool and bar staff were fantastic. Right outside you can snorkel in the reef. Breakfast was a big spread. Only minus was I had to pay a small fee to use the gym. Highly recommend!

This is a great budget-friendly place to stay. It is steps from a quiet beach. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. 100% would stay again!
