"My husband and I stayed to attend the Appalachian Trail Days. The cottage was absolutely amazing. It was so clean, so well equipped! The cottage was in the country, really quiet. It has an amazing screened in back deck that over looked fields of hay and a cow pasture. I was so glad that we got to meet Judy and Joe. Wonderful couple! We loved staying there and hope to be able to go back again."

"Had everything we needed- well stocked kitchen for cooking, lots of towels in clean bathrooms, small bedrooms but with very comfortable beds with extra blankets, good location, walkable to some local shops and diner."

The house was more spacious and accommodating than I and my family expected, and had many more amenities than most rental properties- which was a true blessing. Love the central location as it was very close to hiking, biking and driving to Virginia creeper Trail. The owner responds immediately to any questions. We did not have enough coffee when we arrived and he sent the cleaning person that Evening to give us a supply. Enjoyed sitting on the porch at night and watching the sunset over the mountain.
