"We had a great visit and even saw the NORTHERN LIGHTS from the backyard dock. The dock was a great place to star gaze, listen to the owls, and enjoy the little lunar eclipse. We hiked and swam at nearby Ess Lake and ClearWater State Parks. The place was clean and adorable with all the up north decor and beautiful views of the lake."

"We visited Hubbard Lake (Churchill Point) for a wedding. Very lucky to find Sunset Hideaway! 2 couples stayed, so only used 2 of the 3 bedrooms. We had unusually chilly weather when arrived so did not get to use all the property offered- fire pit, the lake, & renting a pontoon to enjoy the water and a sunset! "We had two large families stay here and found the property to be very clean, well stocked, and as advertised. There is no air conditioning in this home, so it got very hot! But, we knew that from the listing and packed a few extra fans which I would recommend. The property owner was very communicative and helpful. Overall, a great stay."

"Shower left a lot to be desired. Cold water knob fell off. When turned on not sure if it was from sitting or the shower head but ended up covered with a rust type sludge. I know it’s from the well water but maybe before being occupied if it sat vacant go in and run the shower and clean the shower head."

"The cabin had lot's of nice touches and fun stuff to look at. It was a quite and relaxing place to come back to after a day of fishing. The fire pit area was perfect for hanging out and making smores. The cabin is close to a lot of great outdoorsy stuff. All in all, we had a great mini-vacation and will consider staying there again next time we head up to Fletcher's for fishing."
