"If I could, I would give it 4.5 stars. The building is old and it shows, but it is clear that the management cares a lot about providing a great service which, to me, makes up for a couple of small slightly below par things. Cons: doors do not shield you *at all* from sounds in the hallway. This is true for a number of hotels, and definitely true for this one. Every time someone passes near your door, it seems like you have guests. This can be an issue for people with light sleep (not my case, though). Tubs/Showers are definitely old. The chair in my room was so old that a screw went through the cushion and made it uncomfortable to sit on it. Pros: everything else, including many details. They have Dove brand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. The hot water arrives *immediately* when you open it. I took a shower at 5am, and I did not have to wait more than a couple of seconds for the hot water to arrive. Beds and pillows are comfortable. There are a fridge and a microwave in the room. The breakfast has 4 warm items (eggs, bacon, potatoes and biscuits+gravy), plus a number of other options, including 2-3 types of fresh fruit, top-brand joghurt, high quality cereals, muffins, and even warm cinnamon rolls! Location is great, near the highway, close to a gas station. It is clear that they pay attention to details. I will be back next time I travel to STL."

"I’m a traveling band mom, so I’ve been in three different hotel franchises in the last three weeks. This was the best! When I walked in, I was shocked at how crisp and clean everything was. Great service, they let me check in early, which was extremely helpful. The room was noiiiiiice! And I really need to know where I can buy their shampoo and conditioner, because my hair has never been so manageable. I didn’t have time to swim, but their pool has play stuff and it’s nice and warm in there. I will be back! It’s a great distance from St Louis, you can get there in no time and still be in the burbs"

"The place worked out great for the last two nights, and it wasn’t far from the airport!! Staff was GREAT and FUN!! And I think everyone should add Route 66 to their bucket lists!! So many amazing places and sites, and next year is going to be amazing as it’s going to be 100 year’s celebration!! Get your kicks on ROUTE 66!! We sure did!!!"

"Our room was clean and the shower was hot! Breakfast was pretty good too. The wallpaper was showing a little wear but they were doing some renovations while we were there. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub but they seemed nice. Staff was friendly and helpful! Mostly, we felt super safe! We didn’t worry about a thing and loved the convenient location to Saint Louis."
