"From beginning to end a pleasant stay. Owner was on contact to make sure everything was in order. Fresh cut flowers, plenty of clean white fluffy towels, comfortable bedding and the view through sparkling clear windows. What a wonderful way to spend the mother's day weekend with my daughter and spend some time outdoors exploring little Hudson river towns. 10 thumbs up!!!!"

"Beautiful, spacious, historic renovated schoolhouse, well appointed furnishings. Giant great room off the back and out to an expansive green which is NOT fenced enough to let your pet run loose, which they say in write up (our dog loved the great room to play in). A few things: If the weather is inclement, the firewood on the property along the fence will be wet. We arrived in rain and had sun the next two days but wood was wet, and could not locate any bagged firewood in Rhinebeck, so could not...

"Lovely home. Very quiet. Large kitchen. I appreciated the communication from the owners. Pictures give the sense that it is larger than it is. Small deck in the back and some seating in the front of the house. Loved the huge windows in the living room. Very nice stay"

The gas fireplace in the dining area was great, has pretty much everything you could need and incredibly stylish (the retro fridge and microwave were very cool). "We were looking for a place to stay when visiting our son who lives in the Catskill area. The cottage was perfect. It was in a great location in town close to breweries, shops, and restaurants. It was beautifully furnished and very spacious. We definitely plan on staying there again when we visit our son."

Susanne, the host, gave us great directions and was super friendly and helpful and we really appreciated the scones,chocolate and fresh local eggs left for us. "This is a beautiful, cozy, and comfortable cottage. The attention to design detail, stained glass windows in the peaks, lantern wall lights, and barn wood beams, makes this a special place. We were there on a cold and rainy weekend and it was a perfect place to just relax. "

"A very nice stay. Communication with the host was great. We kept bothering her with questions and she responded quickly. The place is really beautiful. We lit a fire each night and played some of the provided games and watched Netflix. It's an easy drive to Great Barrington to get groceries at the Berkshire coop. We also took advantage of our surroundings and hikes on the AT a little each day. Next time we'll use the host's canoe to explore Lake Buel. The only minor complaint I would have is...

"The Catskill Nook is beautiful and cozy with all the ameneties on the inside. And on the outside it's just a short walk away from main street with shops, bars and restaurants. Owners have thought of everything, and communication was effortless and very welcoming."
