Empire Hotel

Empire Hotel

8/10 Good
"Beautiful Lobby. Our bathroom had some black mold and wood damage on the bathroom moulding. If you leave your room to explore the city after 9:30 be sure to tell the front desk you still want your room cleaned or it won’t happen. There is no microwave or coffee machine in the room. The pool hours and pool bar/restaurant have different hours it was a little confusing. As well as how to get to the pool. The pool was quite small but very nice and the pool deck was very clean. Over all the room was nice and the staff was nice and helpful."

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I stayed for three nights. I had no problems. It is in Broadway/Times Square. It was pretty quiet for being right next to Times Square. The room is smaller, but personally, I wasn’t crazy for a big room. It doesn’t have a desk but for me, I don’t use desks in hotels. It is an older hotel you can tell, but it was renovated and it looks very nice. The location is great. It’s close to so many things that I was able to walk to or take a quick Uber/subway. Junior the hotel staff was amazing. He was very kind very caring and very fun to talk to. The only part that sucks was that we had to wait over an hour to check in the line was huge. But that makes sense being in Times Square NYC and affordable. If you aren’t interested in getting a luxurious glamorous hotel, I would definitely recommend this one. It’s affordable. The staff is amazing. There’s bar and breakfast. The hotel room is pretty nice for what you pay for."

"Overall, good stay, clean hotel in good location. Pretty noisy calling system, elevators need some work. Likely to stay there again on the next trip to New York."

"An amazing experience. We had an issue with our first room where the bathroom door was loose. I called the front desk and they switched rooms immediately, with an upgrade as well. Amazing breakfast with the nicest waitress ever and delicious food. Staff were so informative and helpful. Will be staying here again on my next trip here!"
