"We have stayed here before but probably won't again. The location is pretty much the only good thing about it. The bathroom is very much in need of a reno, the toilet has a snatchy toilet roll holder. The aircon didn't work properly and was more like heating. The bed was the killer though, it was soft and lumpy and we barely slept whilst there. It wasn't even cheap. Also, we did book an upstairs room but I don't understand why, when the place was empty, you wouldn't just upgrade us to a downstairs room, rather than put us right in the middle upstairs. Was a shame as we love Goolwa and the location is so good."

"The staff were friendly, and the price was fair. The beds were comfortable, but there were bugs everywhere—mosquitoes and flies in the room interrupted our sleep, and there were millipedes in the bathroom. The room needs pest control and renovation. Thank goodness we only stayed for one night. "
