"We were looking to find a remote spot where we felt detached from the busy city life and we definitely found it and much more here. The property is beautiful and was easy to get to. The host did a great job having the house ready as well as firewood and some amenities (like a boat and kayak) that really added to the experience. I loved having a private lake with its own dock almost as much as my kids did. My kids also loved exploring the trails that weave their way around acreage. Winding down...

"Coming from the Twin Cities, this was a very pleasant four hour drive north into a wonderfully secluded lakeside cabin resort. While we didn't fish (it seems perfect for it), we did enjoy our time fixing a few slow meals in the cabin, getting out on the lake, watching the stars at night, and checking out a few nearby spots, like the county fair (that just happened to be perfectly timed with our trip) and bars/restaurants. Really beautiful land up by Northome, and recommend the stay for the area!"

"Quaint little cabin with comfortable beds and apprexiated the pull-out couch which had a comfortable mattress. The host laura is so sweet and very communicative and helpful. Has a great sandy area and water is shallow for a log way out with sandy bottom, which would be great for kids who want to swim. We swam, fished (put our boat at dock) and used the nice paddle boat provided. My boys caught bass, bluegills, northern, and perch. "
