"Comfy stay when getting the ferry the following day. Far nicer than the Ibis (not the budget one) that we stayed at last year and smelt smoky. Pool was lovely and great fun with the kids. Arriving on a Sunday eve meant many resteraunts were closed. We went to Buffallo Grill, which was a really bad idea!

"A lovely, quiet hotel with a very welcoming owner!
There was not much choice of restaurants close by- but we ate at the hotel and it was very good. Fish soup recommended!
The room was comfortable and the bed even more so.
The secure parking was a bonus.
We would definitely stay here again if in the area. "

"This was an amazing place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this cottage. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, bedding was good quality. It took us a few days to get used to the pillows, as they are very different to pillows used in UK, but this is only a small matter. We were brave and used the swimming pool, despite the slightly cool weather. The gardens are huge but unfortunately we were not able to mae the most of all of the space as the weather didn't really favour sitting outside. We did however eat outside under the canopy every night. The cottage is extremely quiet and private. Laurence is a friendly and beautifully kind lady who was on hand if we needed her.
Our only negative comment was that we would have appreciated a welcome pack. We arrived late afternoon during a storm, after travelling since 8:00am. We had thankfully stopped at the supermarket when we arrived in France as we were aware that Sunday opening hours can be sporadic in France. This was a saving grace as there were no provisions at all other than 1 toilet roll and 1 dishwasher tablet. In previous stays in France we have been left tea, coffee, bread and sometimes a bottle of wine or juice. It just felt a little disappointing that this had not been considered. This did not spoil our amazing holiday but though it worth mentioning so others are prepared in advance.

"The complex and pool were lovely. The 3-bedroomed apartment was basically a 2-bedroomed with a bunk bed placed in the entrance hall. This is fine if you've got older children, but I wouldn't have been comfortable with younger children sleeping there.
Very clean and had everything we needed, except the listing on VRBO states that there are towels provided. We were told on check in that this wasn't the case. There is also no hairdryer, washer, dryer. Well I didn't find them if they were there anyway!
The pool was lovely, was used every day of our stay. The outside space at our apartment was useful and fairly private.
Overall a very nice stay at a good price. The lack of amenities mentioned would not have been a problem if we had known before arriving."

You need a car! No information available about public transport. Family members were available for our transport.
We had to find somewhere to stay at short notice, to attend a family funeral. August in France is always booked up well in advance."
