"Would not recommend, I booked a week in advance. Went to go check in, there was a sign on the door saying “not available till after 4”. We were heading back to get checked in and got an email stating we were cancelled. "

"The house is not fancy but is clean, comfortable and wonderful! The view - waterfront is amazing! We spent most of our time on the dock, reading, bird watching (there is an osprey nest right there and was so much fun to watch), happy hour, etc.! The sunrises and sunsets were incredible! You can see both from the dock! We had good late lunches on Gwens Island, in Mathews, and in Deltaville! Ate some great raw oysters!! Wish I could live here!!! "

"We have stayed at Gwynn’s Island Cottage four times now and each visit only gets better. Cheri is the most thoughtful and welcoming host — you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The Cottage has always been immaculate and has everything you could ever think to need during your stay. The views, the water, the private beach.. it’s almost surreal. We bring our dog who enjoys the beach and water as much as we do. The sunsets every night are breathtaking. With great restaurants on the island and nearby in Mathews, it’s hard to imagine a more perfect location for a getaway. We are so thankful Cheri shares her little slice of heaven and are already looking forward to our next visit!! "

"Bayfront Escape is just beautiful inside and out! There are gorgeous views from every room, as well as from the front and backyards. If only there was any fish during our stay, it would’ve been our best vacation home ever. We didn’t get a single bite all week, but the gorgeous scenery all around us still made our stay very enjoyable. We had a great time sitting on the deck with its expansive views. We really enjoyed our time on the pier as well as the dock in the woods. The little sandy beach was also a plus for the little one. Communication with Leisr Stays was the best we’ve ever experienced!
