"Home was fine, truthfully the stress came when talking with Vacasa around understanding the parking and getting bounced around trying to figure it out right at the start of the stay put a damper on the trip. We were fearful to move our car once we got there as all the spots were constantly filled by afternoon. "We spent 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The best thing about the place is its location. It has all the conveniences that we were looking for: clean bathrooms, cozy beds, awesome balcony overlooking the ocean, a functional kitchen and living room, easy access to the beach, and proximity to the boardwalk, stores, and restaurants of Duck. We will consider going there again. The only issue was getting to the third floor for our senior family member. "

"This was our first time staying at John Yancey and it didn’t disappoint us at all! The staff were amazing and helpful. The pool was cleaned every morning before opening so it was always refreshing. The hotel is extremely clean I didn’t see one bug during our visit. It’s very easy to get to the beach with your things and little ones. "
