"Very nice hotel with beautiful rooms and excellent service. Easily accessible also by public transport: bus stops are next to the hotel and a distance to the nearest railwaystation les than 500 m. "
"the location was beautiful, the facilities and rooms were spotless, and we made lots of use of the common space! the real star of the show was the manager/concierge dora - she helped us so much with getting around the city, recommendations for day trips, and making us feel so welcome and comfortable. she truly made our trip fantastic! we can not recommend staying here enough! "It’s right in the middle of town. 8min walk to the train station, about 10-12 to the festspiele. The best thing about the place was the staff, especially the one in charge, very friendly, welcoming, if I went back to Bregenz I would only stay here. The walls are a little thin, and there are some things I’d change but overall I liked it a lot. "
"We had another wonderful stay at Hotel Bayerischer Hof — just as on our previous visits. The service was warm and attentive, the breakfast was EXZELLENT, and the atmosphere of the hotel is so charming and inviting. It really feels like a home away from home, and we always appreciate the care the staff puts into making guests feel welcome.
The only downside this time was that our room faced the church, and the bells were very loud, ringing every hour. Even every 15min.— Also late night and early in the morning. Unfortunately, this did disturb our sleep quite a bit.
That said, we still truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend the hotel. For light sleepers, it might be worth requesting a room that does not face the church.

"Reception on floor 1, but check-in was in the restaurant/bar on floor 0. Took a bit to figure this out. Air conditioning was struggling to cool the room--probably due to dirty filters (there wasn't much airflow)--but the neighborhood was quite quiet and the night air was cool which allowed us to cool the room quickly just by opening the windows. Great place to stay right in the heart of this charming town!"
