Lovely clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was quiet couldn’t hear any noise from other rooms. Nice and central so easy to explore Hjo on foot from the hotel.

Bellevue is great! Let's be clear - this is the only "normal" hotel for many miles around. Don't even try to search for anything else. Try to visit Bellevue and see its real beauty, despite the feeling of slightly aged and outdated building (yet nicely renovated and very comfortably furnished rooms) and despite the sleepy town outside the active summer season while far too bustling in the summer. The staff is wonderful, both at reception and restaurant. The breakfast is great, with some super sweet touches that you cannot see in other Swedish hotels. Go there and you will see!...

Comfortable and pleasant, but slightly run down

Pleasant and nice hotel with comfortable beds in a great setting near the lake and the Victorian villas of the old spa park. Nice touch with the selection of different bed pillows in the bed. It's just a shame that the window was so dirty, that it totally ruined the view. Also, the setting up of the breakfast buffet was rather uninspired, and the whole breakfast area looked a bit unloved and messy. This could easily be fixed, with just a bit of attention from the staff or management. Despite this, we had a great stay, and would be happy to come back.

The location was beautiful but in early September there was no one about and very few places to eat or drink in Hjo The hotel was popular but only with older retired people. It felt like the hotel and town was about to close for the winter

Charmigt hotell med vidunderligt trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Vi hade lite problem med avlopp och det åtgärdades omedelbart av vår trevliga städerska Den fantastiska receptionisten gav oss till och med en ansenlig rabatt på priset då hon upplevde att vi varit utsatta för onödiga stressmoment. Rummet var mycket dåligt städat. Vi har aldrig råkat ut för detta tidigare. Frukosten var mycket bra. Hunden trivdes inte alls var hyperstirrig under hela vistelsen. Gick och luktade i rummet hela tiden. Vi fick en sova på hela natten.
