"Stayed for two nights. Location is nice with free bus connection to the city center. Service and front desk personell was friendly. Issues: - Property is worn down (except for the remodeled bathrooms). - Cleaning staff entered the room twice while still sleeping - ANTS! Minibar area and desk was clearly invaded by ants and even after complaining at the front desk, no action was taken / no alternative was offered to us (e.g. another room). Definitely an overrated and overpriced hotel for the experience offered. "

"Merano is a gorgeous mountain town. Aurora is right across the street from a famous thermal spa. The hotel has a helpful staff. Like so many places in Italy, it’s on a pedestrian street but they have an arrangement with a nearby parking garage and the parking just goes on your room charges."

"Our stay at Hotel Larchenhof was amazing! The owner made us feel special and even did our laundry while we hiked around Kaunertal. The breakfast was the best we have had during our Europe travels. It was a wonderful experience!"

"Castel Rundegg is an old fashioned hotel in the very best sense. It is a beautiful building in a most beautiful town, with comfortable public areas and spacious well appointed bedrooms. Those who are looking for discos and fast food options might choose elsewhere, but it does offer superb cuisine, stunning gardens and an old world elegance. It also boasts extensive pool, sauna and spa treatments. We look forward to returning there."

"Good hotel at great value. Friendly staff. Enjoyed breakfast and dinner. - Need better hairdryers, no power. Steam room was not hot enough. Shame solarium was closed. Sauna opening hours should be extended. Would be good to rotate the salad buffet a little, repetitive We enjoyed our stay and would return"

My room has a balcony with breathtaking views of the snowcapped mountains. Breakfast and coffee were excellent. Absolutely no complaints. A wonderful stay all round. "
