"Brand new apartment, renovated and clean. Brand new refrigerator. Oven/stove-top, microwave, laundry machine, tea and coffee makers. Owner/manager was responsive to email and phone calls. When we did not know how to operate the stovetop a nice young man appeared within two hours and explained everything. ((We stayed one night at another apartment in Caesarea, and that one was neither clean, nor was the owner available at all -- even when there was no toilet paper. But that's a different...

Not only does that seem a lot for a cleaning fee, but the cleaning of the apartment should be included in the price, and if not, made explicitly clear when booking. "
