"De locatie is uniek vanwege de vele poesen, kippen ,vogels. De omgeving nodigd uit tot fietsen en gezellige terrassen zijn er veel te vinden. Strand en veel natuurgebieden. Zeer kindvriendelijk. "Endroit très bien situé avec tout ce qu’il faut pour se préparer un petit repas. Le café est du café instantané. Notre chambre avait de grandes fenêtres et nous avions accès à des casiers pour allonger nos visites de la ville. Si vous avez une voiture, le stationnement est à côté de l’hôtel sinon, tout se fait à pied à partir de la gare St-Lambert."

The rooms are beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. We would definitely return to this hotel if we are in the area again."

Staff were so helpful, attentive and friendly, including advice on the best way to walk into the city centre. Dinner was amazing and there is a very pleasant small garden for eating outside. I'd thoroughly recommend this as a great place to stay."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Pillows. It has elegance without being 'stuffy' and is beautifully furnished and decorated. Our rooms had balconies to relax overlooking the courtyard with gardens and seating for food and drink. We found the beds and pillows really comfortable and appreciated the amenities provided (robes and slippers, toiletries and coffee pod machine). The hotel has several restaurants of different ambiance, one offering a buffet breakfast with a good range of hot and cold food. For us, the location was ideal, with all of the historic sites and eateries within a short walk, yet away from the crowds and noise along the canal in the centre of the old city. The hotel can be reached by trams and buses from the station. Ghent is a beautiful city for a short break. It is also less than an hour by train to Bruges, Antwerp, Brussels, the coast at Ostend and Ypres is just over an hour. We would definitely stay at the Pillows again as a base to visit any of the sights in Flanders."

"Everything was lovely - especially the simple gym with ceiling-to-floor windows and the simple yet decent breakfast with the nice vibe in the dining area. One thing though was that the air conditioning was not strong enough (for heat wave) so we had to open some windows - and got bitten by mosquitoessss the whole night."
